We have done a great job staying cool in the AC this summer! The 4th of July was celebrated indoors with some grillin' and homemade ice cream - topped off with an early bed time at 6:30 for the whole family! We were up just in time to see a few of the fireworks across the horizon of Lawrence from our back porch - and then back to sleep! Although it was much different than the years prior - I have to say, I wouldn't have wanted it any different this year. The rest was welcomed :)
Here are a few if the 6 month photos from our photographers - they seem to catch the boys in their natural setting perfectly.
We all really enjoyed our first 4th of July as a family. We are excited and looking forward to more.
